Welcome to Herbert Plantation

Herbert Plantation has – since its acquisition by Hampshire County Council in 1983 – locally been under the auspices of Burghclere Parish Council, and Hampshire County Council’s Countryside Service. Local volunteers have always done the major conservation work, and Neill Bruce has been involved for 30 years. His keen interest has enabled him to compile the following comprehensive records.
